Second song they played that night was Leavin' Trunk, not Chevrolet. I like this recording though. Their set list could have been better but hey, DTB is DTB. :)

Subject: Excellent Recording!
I was pretty late for this opening performance due to beer consumption and lack of time management skills. However, I caught the tale end of it and it was definately jammin'! This recording sounds great and Im glad I get to hear the beginning of the set. Good job and way to be speedy about it!

A very solid, smoking 1 hour set from the band. They opened for the Allman Brothers this date. I was to the left and behind the board area pointed at the left stack and I think the sound turned out exceptionally well. Derek really goes for it on this short set and the band is right there with him. Highlights include the solo in "Blind, Crippled and Crazy" and the "Mahjoun" through the end of the set.

Take a listen and see for yourself. Enjoy!
